About Cheever

Aaron Cheever was born at a very early age. The son of a puppeteer and a proctologist, Aaron has never really known where to place his hands.

Luckily, he found art. Though with fingers half the length of an average male adult, it’s amazing that he can even pick up a pencil, let alone draw with one. His work has spanned many genres – from comic book-style illustration to charcoal abstracts, Cheever has been experimenting with one form of drawing or another since the age of 4.

A graduate of the Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine, Cheever migrated to Detroit for a few years before the call of Maine’s wild drew him back like a dog to bacon.

He lives in Westbrook, Maine with his wife Tami and their extensive collection of antique porcelain dolls.
